University of Arizona students pursuing their Ph.D. in other departments may earn the Master of Arts in Classics while completing the requirements for their own Ph.D. program. Like other M.A. students, these students must select an emphasis and complete all program requirements of that emphasis. They must also apply for admission to the department, and transfer into the department for one semester. For full details, please see the Graduate Handbook.
