The University of Arizona offers generous funding to eligible students admitted to the Classics M.A. program. Most students receive the following for the full two years (four semesters) in the M.A. program:
Graduate Assistant–Teaching (GAT) placements, with .25, .33, or .50 full-time equivalency appointments and corresponding stipends. Stipends range from $7,688 to $16,200 per academic year, depending on number of hours worked and year in the program.
Full tuition waivers for all GATs in the program.
GATs have the option to enroll in the student health insurance plan with the premium fully covered.
