Tenzin (she/her) is a first-year master's student on the Classical Archaeology track. She received her B.A. in Classical and Near Eastern Languages and Cultures from the University of Minnesota in 2025. During the 2025-2026 academic year, she obtained her certificate in Classical Languages at the University of Pennsylvania. She has excavated at the Athenian Agora with the American School of Classical Studies at Athens (ASCSA). Her current research explores the intersections between Greek religion, architecture, and topography in Greece and Asia Minor from the Late Bronze Age to the Archaic period. Thematically, Tenzin is interested in cultural exchange/interaction, networks of craft knowledge, and social memory.
At Arizona, she plans to deepen her knowledge of the classical languages and digital archaeological tools such as LiDAR, GIS, and photogrammetry. She also serves as one of the Graduate Student Representatives and is happy to answer any questions about the program.
