As a scholar, I tend to focus on Surveillance and Espionage in the Ancient world. Primarily in the context of the Peloponnesian War and Thucydides, though also throughout the rest of Greek and Roman history. My other research interests include the Historia Augusta, and Aeneas the Tactician.
