Caleb is pursuing an M.A. degree in Classics at the University of Arizona, with an emphasis in Classical Archaeology. His research interests include Greek colonization and colonial–indigenous interaction in the North Pontic and Sicily, mobile pastoralism, and the preservation of cultural heritage, as well as ancient hunting practices and their artistic representation, especially Roman mosaics depicting scenes of the exotic animal trade. He conducts fieldwork at the Elymian city of Segesta on the island of Sicily.
