The University of Arizona Classics club (formerly Eta Sigma Phi) is proud to announce a new event in partnership with the Department of Religious Studies and Classics, the College of Humanities, and the Special Collections Library! It will be on February 12th, from 9am to 2pm in the Special Collections presentation room.

In honor of Valentine's day, "From Rome with Love" is a celebration of Latin literature on the topic of love, broadly construed. As a reimagining of our annual Lectio event, it will feature readings in both English and Latin from a wide variety of Latin poetry, prose, and drama! Participants are invited to bring a short (5-10 minute) selection to be read aloud. All students and other UArizona community members are welcome! More information is available in the sign-up sheet below.
