JOIN US FOR A LIVE READING OF VERGIL’S AENEID Book 9

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 10, 10AM– 2PM

Main Library Special Collections

Celebrate the legacy of Rome’s most important poet with a reading of an entire book of Vergil aloud, in Latin! Organized by Eta Sigma Phi and hosted by the Department of Religious Studies & Classics, the event will be held in the special collections area of the Main Library surrounded by a display of items related to Vergil. As an audience member, you can read along with the English translation on-screen while you listen to the story the way it was meant to be heard!

Each hour, we will also enjoy short presentations that engage with this exciting and impactful selection of the epic. To participate, please sign up here! If you have any questions about the event, don't hesitate to get in touch with Ruby Staczek (President, Eta Sigma Phi) or Dr. Sarah McCallum (Faculty Advisor, Eta Sigma Phi).
