Cynthia White Travel and Study in Italy Award 2022

For students enrolled in a UA Classics course while participating in Study Abroad programs in Italy

Several Travel Awards of up to $800 are available for the following programs:

1. Explore Italy: offered during Spring Break 2022. Students who enroll in CLAS 310: Rome in Film (7W2 fall 2021 or 7W1 spring 2022) and students who have previously completed CLAS 310: Rome in Film with Professor White are eligible to apply for an Award to travel on the Spring Break program in Italy. 

2. Arizona in Orvieto: offered during summer session. Students enrolled in Classics courses in a summer session Orvieto Program are eligible to apply for an Award. The Arizona in Orvieto Study Abroad application deadline is February 25, 202

Travel Award Application Instructions:

The Travel Award application requires a 500-word statement describing what you hope to gain from the course and trip. Please email your application materials to Ms. Marcela Thompson at marcelathompson@arizona.edu. 

The Travel Award application deadline is January 31, 2022 March 4, 2022 (deadline extended).
