Griffin grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. Since then he has lived in Texas and Georgia. He got his bachelor's in classics from Colorado College in 2021. He focuses on the reign on Octavian in terms of religion. He is currently a graduate student at the University of Arizona in the classics department with an emphasis on archaeology.
