The American Philological Association/American Classical League Joint Committee on
the Classics in American Education (JCCAE) has awarded 1st year Latin Pedagogy
Emphasis student Stephanie Hutching an inaugural 2014 Zeph Stewart Latin Teacher
Training Award. Zeph Stewart, Professor of The Classics at Harvard University from
1953 to 1992, was a passionate supporter of the work of primary and secondary school
teachers, and this award was created in his name to support students seeking teaching
certification in Latin. Congratulations to Stephanie!
